The idea behind Queen Bee Eats for a Day was sparked from a Beehive cake made in July 2008 by two friends. (Well, technically one friend baked the cake while the other friend sat and watched, licking the spoons and bowls the whole time.)
The bee-baker recently made a move to the Los Angeles area while the spoon-licker resides in the New York City area. Between the two of them, their adventures take them all over the place and they both really like to bee in the kitchen so it made sense for them to get together and share their adventures with the rest of the world.
